MAs graduate of the Univ. of Delaware with a degree in animal science, I worked several years as a Vet Tech before moving to Hungary to teach English. While living in Eastern Europe, I rediscovered my passion for cooking. My grandmother and I spent many hours in her Pennsylvania kitchen creating dishes for holiday and family meals or lunch for just the two of us. Reminiscent of that time, I had the pleasure of going to the butcher or fishmonger for the most flavorful proteins and the farmers markets for fresh produce and dairy. I traveled extensively and tasted every region’s cuisine I possibly could. My kitchen became a playground, creating delectable meals to share with friends. Upon returning the U.S., I enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. I am an alumnus of their AOS program, with perfect attendance and graduating with honors. I have been a professional chef for ten years. My passion is creating diverse menus using the freshest, local ingredients and preparing food that people truly enjoy!
